House!

Steve and I have signed a contract on a house! We made an offer last night, the seller countered, and we accepted--so, if the Lord wills, we will close June 30 and spend the month of July moving into our new house!! It's a great old house (built in 1938) that's completely livable now, yet has plenty of projects to keep us busy. We are so excited about becoming homeowners!

Working on importing a snazzy Flickr slideshow here--but if you're so inclined, you can see the pics now by clicking here.

The House looks great Amy, congratulations. Really a great find. Thanks for the clue in to Bob's site, but I got there a bit late, and unfortuatly I can't really answer the Glad questions.

Congratulation! I'm glad you have found a place so quickly and the wood floors are such a bonus! So happy you have decided to make this area more permanent. Now Steve will have some yard projects to keep him happy.

Congrats Amy & Steve! Your house is so cute! I love hardwood floors. What town is it located in? Will it be a shorter commute for Steve to work now? How long have you been looking? That's great. I hope everything falls in place with the closing.
Best wishes,
Sandra

What a charming house! So cute in every way! My husband and I bought a 1950's house last Oct. and it needs A LOT of work. But it's so fun to work on a place of your own!
